Smart Workplaces is a website informed by high involvement and high commitment perspectives to human resource management (collectively referred to as High Performance Work Systems) and is heavily orientated to industry need.

The website and tools were established for the manufacturing industry in 2014 with extensive stakeholder consultation throughout their development.

The relevance of Smart Workplaces to many industries was recognised recently with Melbourne University’s Centre for Workplace Leadership collaborating with the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute (AITI) to develop the resource across other industry sectors. Watch as Smart Workplaces transforms to encompass a broader base of industries.
